Bharatanatyam - Indian Classical Dance Class

SatKaarya is proud to promote Bharatanatyam class by Shraddha. Bharatanatyam is one of the oldest classical dance form of India.

Shraddha Joglekar, a Bharatnatyam exponent has successfully captured this Indian classical dance form. She has been taking training in Bharatnatyam under the able guidance of Guru A.Soudamini Rao for the past 18 years.

Dance Class Details:

For Shraddha, Bharatanatyam is her passion and it is this passion that drove her to start KalaAwiskar school in the bay area. This dance school gives training to students from the ages of 3-45 years. Some of the students are 3 year old kids and have no prior dance experience. They found the class extremely fun and a great learning experience.

Dance is taught in pure classical form, complemented with theory and yoga. Shraddha can also guide a small group to perform on the stage.

Class Timings:

        Sunday:        4.00 to 5.00 PM for Kids

                             5.00 to 6.00 PM for Adults

                             Class Location:

                             4428 Pearl Ave, San Jose CA (Next to Kumud Groceries store)

        Monday:       6.30 to 7.30 PM for Kids
                             Class Location:

                             3122 Fowler Rd San Jose, CA 95135

         Cost:                 $13 for Adults per class

                             $13 for Kids per class
